Mitchell doesn’t come across as angry, because he is usually always smiling. But today I think someone stole his cheese, and he is really taking them to task.

I had my own bad experiences with WaMu. We had our original mortgage with them when we bought our house. We didn’t really shop around for a lender very well, and ended up going to WaMu at my father’s suggestion (thanks, Dad!). The loan was not traditional because we were going to “step up” the interest rate every year for the first 3 years. Our income was not what it is now, so things were tight from the get-go.

Long story short, we later went to a different lender and got a traditional 30 year fixed with a line of credit and have had that for a while.

Now the sucky part. The original loan officer from WaMu has continued to send us propaganda for WaMu’s services. I have called her more than 10 times to complain and take me off her list, but so far to no avail. In this case, as opposed to Mitchell’s, I want to stop receiving mail from them.

Anyhow, I agree. WaMu sucks. ;-)
